So many chores, so little time

We've been unemployed for one week now. In this past week, we had to awake much earlier -07.00 am- then usual. Still so many things to do and to fix before taking off.
Hard moment this week was visiting the home where my dad will eventually end up in. Looks great, but it still feels like you are restrained in your freedom. But we think and have to believe that it's in his best interest, given his medical condition.

Highlight of the week was the celebration of Bevrijdingsdag (liberation day). Our neighbours invited us on their new boat, to have a trip through the canals. When they mentioned boat, we automatically assumed a dinky toy kind of boat, and not a full size longboat which seats at least 20 people. Excellent opportunity to see the city from a totally different perspective. The trip really cleared our minds. Many thanks Elles and Roy!!
